TEAM 4:12 Volunteer Team

It takes an incredible about of planning, time and love to make our PreK-5th grade Wednesday night program a success.
Meals are prepared and served by a group of gentlemen who always have a smile. Bus and van drivers and ride-along adults are crucial for many of our kids to be able to attend TEAM 4:12.

Each group of children are able to build

relationships with their team leaders. And our four classes (Teaching, Application, Energy, and Memory) are led by at least two teachers that engage the children in learning Biblical Truths.
Each of our volunteers have been given a passion to love on children by God our creator and they are eager to serve the Kingdom by serving our children each week.

Eric came to MVCC in 2012 as Youth Pastor. He has just recently been promoted to the Lead Pastor.

Eric graduated from Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, MO in 2000. He was been a youth pastor for a total of 11 years and was the Pastor at Willow Springs Christian church for 5 years.

He and his wife Karena, have been married for 18  years. Karena is a vital part of our Children's Ministry. They have 6 children.

Eric is a marathon runner, has completed two 50 miles races, and one day hopes to complete a 100 miler.

He is excited about the chance to continue serving Jesus in this new direction.

Lindsay has been working with the children and youth at MVCC for eight years, and as a staff member for four years.

She has a passion for loving students through the rough years of Middle School, tends to get a little wild and crazy on trips to CIY SuperStart and Believe.

She and her husband, Barry, have been working with youth since they were married in 1998. They moved to Missouri in 2006 from West Virginia, after which, they was blessed with two boys.

She has and Associates of Arts in Graphic Design. She enjoys farming, visiting her parents in West Virginia and traveling to National Parks with her family.

Wes, and his wife Erica, have incredible hearts for serving Jesus and loving on children and youth. They can often be found at Liberty high school ball games, cheering on the teens.

Wes has taught auto mechanics at the South Central Career Center in West Plains for the last 12 years. He has an Associates in Applied Science and teaching certifciate. Wes was ordained at our church in 2019.

Wes is not only passionate about youth, but he is deeply involved in Celebrate Recovery, John 3:16 Ministries and Men's Encounter.

Janet is on top of it all. She has been the church "secretary" for the last 4 years, but she does so much more than office work! She takes care of our flock.

She assures that everyone is informed of prayer requests and church news via emails, the bulletin and newsletter. She blesses those who have had surgery or illness with a goodie bag of sweets and movies.

She has lived in Mtn. View her whole life, which makes her and essential part of our team.

She and her husband enjoy watching their granddaughters run cross country, traveling and watching Bonanza.

YOUTH PASTOR: Wes Marriott

Teaching Team

We offer four adult, one college, one high school, one middle school and five children's Sunday School classes, plus nursery, Wee Worship and Kids Worship each Sunday morning.

We also have Sunday night Bible Study classes during the school year for all ages.

All of this requires a number of dedicated, Bible-loving people who have been gifted with a humble heart to teach and lead others while we all learn together. This requires the courage to trust in God as they lead others into His Word.

This represents just a portion of those who humbling step forward to God's Word.

Youth Team

Our Youth Team is nothing short of awesome! They are always there to support the youth leaders, check in on students, stay up late for lock-ins, attend retreats, teach lessons and consistently lead small groups.

They truly love our students. They use their life experiences to help guide. But most importantly they listen - they listen to struggles, they listen to successes and they even listen to drama. They make sure our students know they matter, not only to them but to Jesus Christ.

All staff and volunteers are required to participate in a Child Protection class, have a background check and
additional training while an active part of our Children and Youth Ministry.
