Pouring in to the Next Generation
At Mountain View Christian Church we have a lively youth ministry! We provide both separate and combined lessons and activities for both middle school (Ignite) and high school (Flames) students, giving them opportunities to connect with their peers in an environment centered around Christ.
From Sunday Mornings to Wednesday Nights to trips and events, your teens have plenty of options to get plugged in to MVCC Youth!

SUNDAYS
Bible Study: 9:30am
Worship: 10:45am
On Sundays, Bible Study (aka Sunday School) provides students with individualized time to learn and have discussions! Ignite and Flames each have their own classes, but they do occasionally meet together.
We believe it is vital that our teens worship along with adults in our regular worship service. But our goal is to have them regularly participate in the worship service. Our teens are involved in all parts of the service, including worship team, tech team and communion! You can also find teens assisting with Nursery, WeeWorship and Kids Worship.
A deeper level Bible study is offered at different times during the year. Connect with us to get details on our current Apostles group.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
Youth Group (6-12)
Meal: 5:30-5:55 pm
Program: 6:00-8:00pm
Open Gym: 8:00-8:30 pm
Wednesday nights are a special time for our youth to gather for a more relaxed time while growing in their Spiritual Health. We spend time focusing on The Word, looking for life applications and laughing with games and special activities.
We worship together, then split Ignite and Flames groups for teaching that is geared for their age group. Both spend time in small groups where relationships with other believes grow through discussion and prayer.
TRIPS AND EVENTS
Camp, mission trips, Kingdom Work and more!
Most of our trips and events take place in the summer, but we love any chance to offer experiences to our youth so they can spend time together as a youth group! Whether it be a week at camp at Rock Garden Christian Camp, Kingdom Work in the area, mission trips to other states or countries, or fun events like a trip to Fritz's, movies or game nights.

My goal as youth minister is to make all teens feel welcome and accepted, surround them with sponsors who are in love with Jesus and express God's grace though encouraging the teens we get to know each night.
