​The Basics

• What does 18 hole Insane Par 3 Two Person Scramble Challenge even mean?
  Each of the 18 holes will be par three. The "challenge" comes from the placing of the holes and tee boxes. You won't believe how "insane" it will be!
  In a scramble tournament, all members of a team hit their shots, choose the best one, and then play from that spot. 
  There will be two rounds, one in the morning beginning at 8 am and the second beginning at 1 pm.
   

• Winners & Prize Money
  First, second and third place winning teams of each flight will receive cash prizes. There will be three flights. Winners will be announced after the last team has completed the course and results have been calculated. Prizes are $400 for first place teams, $300 for second place teams, $200 for third place teams. Prize amounts are based off of the participation of 50 teams and may be adjusted if needed.
   

• Shoot-out following the afternoon round.
  3 Pin shoot-out on the 18th green, $10 entry, shoot twice back to back for $20, each pin worth a different $$$ amount. 
   

• $10 Lunch
  Lunch will be available for purchase. Choose between pulled pork or pulled chicken sandwich. Also included are chips, coleslaw, baked beans and drink. 
  Water and sodas will be available for purchase during the tournament.

  Call MV Municipal Golf Course or complete the registration form below. The first 50 people to pay will receive a special gift.

Other ways to give and win!

• $10 Mulligans
  Let's face it everybody has a bad day every now and then. Be sure to give yourself a leg up by purchasing a mulligan for $10, max of three mulligans per entry.
   

• Fund Matching Drawings
  Some of the holes will be sponsored by businesses that have agreed to match donated funds up to a certain amount. Give your donation to the volunteer at that hole to have your name entered into the drawing for the prize at that hole. 
   

• 50/50 Friends Funding
  Use the Friends Funding link and/or QR provided to ask your friends and family to donate additional funds to the youth group in your honor. DONORS MUST ADD YOUR NAME IN THE NOTE/MEMO TO HAVE THEIR DONATION CREDITED TO YOU! At the end of the tournament, the player who had the most money donated in their name will receive 50% of all earnings donated in your name. 
  FRIENDS FUNDING MAY BEGIN IMMEDIATLEY and does not have to wait until day of tournament.

• Lunch Break & Closing Auction
  Two items will be up for auction. One at 12:15 pm and one just before announcing the winners in the afternoon. More details on the items will be available at a later date.

The Motivation

​

• Mountain View Christian Church Youth
  The Insane Par 3 Two-Person Scramble Challenge golf tournament has been established as a fun and unique way to raise funds for the Youth Program at MV Christian Church. This organization serves students in grades 6-12 in the Mountain View - Birch Tree school district. 
  Money raised will help purchase needed musical equipment for the youth worship band, supplies and prizes for activities and games, educational content for students and volunteers and lots of pizza and ice cream. It will also help students attend fun trips and conferences and help cover the cost of mission trips and service work done locally and in other states.
